Cloud Cabin Limited offers using GoCardless to process Direct Debit payments instead of using a debit or credit card. Setting up a Direct Debit allows your hosting fees to be collected automatically, ensuring uninterrupted service without the need to make manual payments each billing cycle.
This guide walks you through the simple sign-up process and what to do once your Direct Debit mandate is in place.
Before You Begin
Please have the following ready before starting:
- Your UK bank account details (account number and sort code)
- The name on the bank account
- Access to your email inbox to receive confirmation
Please note: Direct Debit is currently available for UK bank accounts only.
Step 1: Visit the Sign-Up Link
Click the link below (or copy and paste it into your browser) to access the Cloud Cabin Limited Direct Debit sign-up form, powered by GoCardless:

Step 2: Enter Your Details
On the GoCardless sign-up page, you will be asked to provide:
- Your full name
- Email address
- Bank account holder name
- Sort code
- Account number
Fill in each field carefully and double-check your bank details before proceeding.
Step 3: Confirm the Direct Debit Mandate
Once your details are entered, you will be shown a summary of the Direct Debit mandate. Review the details and click Confirm (or Set up Direct Debit) to authorise the mandate.
You will receive a confirmation email from GoCardless once the mandate has been successfully created. Please keep this for your records.
Your money is protected. All Direct Debit payments are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee, which gives you the right to a full and immediate refund from your bank in the event of an error.
Step 4: Notify Cloud Cabin Support
⚠️ This step is important. After setting up your Direct Debit mandate, you must contact us so we can link it to your hosting account.
Please send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
- Your full name
- The email address used to set up the Direct Debit
- Your Cloud Cabin account username or domain name
Our support team will then link your Direct Debit mandate to your hosting services. You will receive confirmation once this has been done.
